Manu Intiraymi's interesting name comes from a Hawaiian first name and an Incan surname. He spent most of his childhood traveling around the United States and the world with his parents. At four years old, Manu Intiraymi saw the production of "Peter Pan" at the local community theater and immediately wanted to become an actor. After several acting classes throughout junior high and high school, Manu began training at the Howard Fine Studio and worked in movies and extensively in the theater. Manu's theater work includes lead roles in "Waiting for Godot", "Marvin's Room", and "The Wizard of Oz". He made his debut in the movies in the film "Senseless", which starred David Spade and Marlon Wayans. Other film work includes a co-starring role in "Whatever It Takes", as the friend of the lead character, plus some small roles in "Go!" and "Eyeball Eddy". Manu has also appeared on well-known television series, like "Sabrina the Teenage Witch", "Unhappily Ever After", "Smart Guy", and "Pacific Blue". Manu's claim-to-fame is his recurring role as Icheb on the hit UPN sci-fi show, Star Trek: Voyager. Manu's work as the teenage Borg began in early 2000 as an episode arc, but soon transformed into a recurring role that has lasted nine episodes. His work on Star Trek: Voyager has also won him a place on Yahoo!, with his own Yahoo! fan club, The Manu Intiraymi Club.
