Stephen was born in Nashville, Tennessee. When he was six months old his family moved to Kensington, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC, where they lived until Stephen was 9 years old. They then moved to Wilton, Connecticut where he spent the rest of his adolescence on into adulthood.Stephen's mother is a very accomplished 8th grade English teacher in the Wilton Public School system. She has traveled around America lecturing teachers on well developed methods of teaching "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to young students. Stephen's father is a Presbyterian minister in Wilton and praised amongst the community as well.The youngest of three, Stephen is the brother of Dave Graybill, a professional Swing Dancer (among other things), and Elizabeth Graybill, a lawyer in New York City.He received his undergraduate degree from University of Connecticut. He has also studied Shakespeare and contemporary Theater and Film extensively in America and England at University's such as Ithaca College; Ithaca College in London, England; The British Drama Academy at Oxford University in Oxford, England; The Shakespeare Theater in Washington, DC; The Actors Center in New York City; as well as The Upright Citizens Brigade.He has played acoustic guitar for over a decade. He performed at The Sundance Film Festival in 2007 for Amstel Light's Legacy Lounge event in Park City, Utah. He is in talks with producers about putting together an album.He is also writing two screenplays with his writing partners in New York City, and they are in talks with producers about putting together both screenplays at a later date.Stephen recorded a Voice Over spot for Vaseline's new line of lotions in 2007.Stephen lives in the East Village in New York City.
