When a girl who's the daughter of a prominent businessman is kidnapped. SIS is assigned to handle it. Frank and Kyle go to the parents' and wait for the kidnappers to call. Thy call make a ransom demand and Frank talks to them and negotiates with them. They agree to a meet and Frank and Kyle bring the money. The exchange was talking place when some people show up and kill the men they were meeting and tell Frank that they're the ones behind the kidnapping and tells them to tell the father the price has gone up. Frank thinks this is more than just a kidnapping. He thinks the father knows more than he is telling. Frank was told not to lean on the father but he finds a way. Kyle tries to find out what the key his father buried means.

Frank is called by Narcotics to work with them on a bust. They tell him, they want him with them because the informant who told them about the shipment is someone he knows. It's someone whom he and Kyle's father knew since he was kid. But when they try to make the bust, there is nothing and the informant is killed. Frank deduces that it was all a set up to find who's been snitching on them. They kill one of the shooters and Frank examines the body and sees he's Yakuza, so he goes to a known Yakuza joint and confronts someone he knows is one of the shooters and that's when some other people pull out guns. That's when the Feds come in and take them in. The Feds are interested in making a big bust and they allowed Frank's informant to get killed. The man Frank confronted who is now in the Feds custody and is about to be deported. So Frank tells Rebecca and Tommy to get the guy and make him talk.
